IN PARTNERSHIP WITH:
The Rheanna Bowl is an inflatable obstacle relay race. Teams go head to head against each other to compete for the trophy. Each team member completes one obstacle, then races to tag their next team member and on it goes.
Teams should consist of 6 members. Kids 10+ are allowed to participate when at least two adults are on the team.
In this 32-team tournament, heats of two will face off against each other, but it’s the time that really matters. After each round, the times will be ordered from fastest to slowest. Round 1 will split the field into an A-Side and B-Side, from there it’s a knockout tournament. Fastest times move on; slowest times get to visit the bar or the lovely food trucks. Visit the Race Details to see the tournament structure draw.
This year we’re adding more inflatables! The course is set to include:
- 95ft Radical Run
- Giant Camo Extreme Rush
- Zorb Ball Collision Course
- The Blob
- Splash Mountain (with foam – bring a towel)
- Safe Archery
KIDS MINI GOLF
INFLATABLE BOUNCY CASTLE
FIFTY FIFTY DRAW
LOCAL FOOD TRUCKS
If you’ve got little ones at home or maybe the thought of sprinting through inflatables doesn’t sound like your kind of Saturday, this event is still for you! Admission to RE/MAX Field is FREE and this is a great way to get out to the local baseball field. We’ll have something for everyone.
FOR THE KIDS:
- The KidZone will have a bouncy castle, face painting, dunk tank, crafts and mini-golf! This will keep the kids entertained for hours
- Special guest appearances from local media and sports personalities
FOR THE ADULTS:

SUPPORTING LOCAL FAMILIES
All the proceeds from this year’s event go to supporting families battling cancer. A child’s cancer diagnosis bring emotional and physical challenges, but it also brings financial challenges. This year we want to alleviate at least the financial burden for some local families.
On October 31, 2016, Rheanna Trepanier was picked up from school complaining of a bad headache, sore eyes, and feeling sick to her stomach. Marrissa Trepanier, Rheanna’s mother, brought her into the Stollery where she was rushed into surgery. After various examinations and tests, the family received terrible news. The doctors found four malignant brain tumors.
Over the next few days, Rheanna was repeatedly on the operating table; she had to endure three brain surgeries and a blood transfusion to decrease the built-up pressure in her brain. It was only days later Rheanna’s tenth birthday that she was diagnosed terminal.Ten years old with terminal brain cancer and given less than a year to live, she decided to create, “Rheanna’s Bucket List” to make the most out of the time she has left. With help from some kind-hearted people that were touched by her story, Rheanna got to tick some items off her bucket list. Driving a tank on the army base, dog sledding in the Northwest Territories, meeting Connor McDavid, and tours of news and radio stations are just a few examples of her amazing experiences.
Rheanna is still beating the odds today! She’s back to school part-time, and she’s still ticking items off of her bucket list.
Not that we aren’t dog people, but dogs will not be permitted at this event.
Yes, children age 10 and older are allowed to compete in the Rheanna Bowl, but there must be a minimum of two adults (18+) per team.
You bet! There will be a kids-sized bouncy castle, mini-golf, crafts, a dunk tank and face painting all in our KidZone!
We are in Alberta so always prepare for the weather. If you are competing in the race, bring a spare t-shirt and a towel.
Teams should arrive at 10:00am to register and team orientation will start at 10:30am. Remember to pick up your t-shirt too!
There will be T-shirts for the teams that compete in the event! Also, available for purchase if you’re not competing.
There is free parking in the parking lot across the street just north of the RE/MAX Field where the event is held.
